Pink Saturday - An Apron for a Friend

Happy Pink Saturday! I don't have a lot of time today, because my dear Father-in-law has been in the hospital and much of this week has been spent with my dear Mother-in-law, helping out with her care. Fortunately, we are hoping that my dear Father-in-law will be coming home tomorrow! Praise the Lord.

So as for my Pink Saturday offerings, here is a picture of the apron that my daughter and I made for my BFF! It is so cute in Pink and Black. I think she really liked it! She is a marvelous cook and now she can look so stylish when she prepares those delicious meals.

Below is a picture of my youngest dd opening her present. We were late having our gift exchange this year, but we had fun anyway! It is all wrapped up in beautiful pink paper & a big gold bow.

And this is a beautiful photo that she took of her lampshade. She is quite artistic with her camera!

Be sure to drop by Beverly's at How Sweet the Sound to see other great Pink Saturday posts.

And I would like to highlight a special blog this week.  Take a minute to visit Collected Treasures. You will find so many wonderful things to explore.

Have a wonderful day!

I am an apron girl and love this sassy cover-up! Any cook would feel dressed for company in this one.
I said a prayer for your father and mother-in-law.

What a wonderful Pink Saturday post! I just ♥ the fact that each of us shares such a variety of items - that's one reason why this event is never boring. Always something fun, new, lovely or interesting around the corner.

Thanks for sharing a part of yourself today☺ Cold, gloomy day today but, as always, bright and sunny on the Pink Saturday blogs.

Sending good thoughts to your family during this busy and difficult time.

♫Wishing you sunshine and happiness this weekend!♫

Hi Tricia!
I am happy to hear that your father in law will leave the hospital !
It's Sunday now, but I want to wish you a happy Pink Saturday! Your pinks are lovely - especially the apron, it's a perfect gift for a marvelous cook! This week I am not participating but showing a little bit of our district capital Baden near Vienna. Perhaps you like the old houses there? Hugs, Traude

That's such a cute apron! I'd like wearing it even if I didn't cook. I hope your father-in-law will be well and back with you soon. It's so difficult to watch the ones we love suffer. He's blessed to be so loved by you. Have a great week. -Terri

She will surely love it :-)

A late Christmas gift giving makes you extend the Holidays a wee bit LOL

ON a serious note, I hope your father in law will be well and be home too.

Belated PS!

Lovely things, Tricia! So . . . what was in that wonderfully large, pink box? That looks like the dream present to open.

Prayers and blessings to your in-laws as well as you.

Hui, it's me once again!
I just stopped over to tell you that there is a little "giveaway-lottery" on my blog.
Maybe you've got the time and the good mind to go in for my draw. Would make me happy :o)
